News 1 Sep 2007 Frontal partners with Siemens for MES, LIMS Frontal Software, a provider of information solutions for manufacturing industries and plants has signed a partnership agreement with Siemens to develop and deploy manufacturing IT solutions using Siemens’ Simatic IT Manufacturing Execution System (MES) framework. As a Simatic IT Partner, Frontalsoft will provide solutions to industry verticals like chemicals, metals, pharma and power. MES integrates manufacturing and business workflows enabling seamless operability of plants, automation of tasks and accurate, on-time reporting. SIMATIC IT framework from Siemens provides a modular and scalable architecture permitting graphical modeling and debugging of the MES application. It is fully compliant with ISA-95 standard for MES and also integrates with LIMS, product specification management and plant intelligence products from Siemens. |
