News 1 Nov 2007 Automotive component manufacturer implements MIS pilot A leading automotive component manufacturer near Chennai, India rolled out an MIS pilot for a production line consisting of melting, moulding, cooling and finishing stages. The objective is to monitor production progress, parameters and highlight deviations. The system integrates to plant controllers to collect production data and archives for long term storage. The data is analysed on web based screens by supervisors and corporate users. Automated reports on daily and weekly basis are sent to users highlighting abnormal events and values. Frontalsoft has developed and implemented the MIS. |
