Blood plasma fractionation plant implements MIS
A leader in blood plasma fractionation based in Mumbai, India has implemented an information system to handle the long term archiving and reporting of process data. The plant produces blood plasma proteins (albumin and immunoglobulin). The process is controlled by Siemens PCS7 high redundant system. Critical data from the cleaning, sterilization and process operations are archived and reported for audit purposes by the MIS.
A Siemens SIMATIC IT based information system was developed and implemented by Frontalsoft to handle this requirement. Data collection, KPI calculation and batch reporting are performed automatically saving the customer time and effort while ensuring data reliability and easy access.
